Een aantal van de grootste pop, rock en country artiesten zingen songs van Elton John op 2 albums die op 6 april worden gereleased. De albums hebben de namen “Restauration” en “Revamp”. De supersterren vertolken songs die de afgelopen 50 jaar door Elton John en Bernie Taupin zijn geschreven.

Op “Restauration” staan de grootste country artiesten zoals Dierks Bentley, Rosanne Cash en Emmylou Harris, Miley Cyrus, Vince Gill en Don Henley, Miranda Lambert, Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Kacey Musgraves, Willie Nelson, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Rhonda Vincent en Dolly Parton en Lee Ann Womack.

Op “Revamp” staan de beste pop, rock en urban artiesten zoals Mary J. Blige,  Coldplay, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, The Killers, Mumford and Sons, P!nk en Logic, Q-Tip ft. Demi Lovato, Ed Sheeran en Sam Smith.

“We have two completely different albums; Revamp being the pop one and Restoration being the country one and God we have so many great artists doing our songs, it’s quite incredible,” said Elton John. “Restoration was Bernie’s project and he’s a huge country fan. The ‘Revamp’ was more my project. He came up with an astonishing list of country performers both new and legendary.”
