Josh Turner heeft zijn allereerste Dove Award nominaties binnengehaald voor zijn religieuze album “I Serve A Savior”. The Gospel Music Association heeft de genomineerden bekendgemaakt waaronder 3 voor Josh Turner: Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year voor “How Great Thou Art” ft. Sonya Isaacs, Bluegrass/Country/Roots Recorded Song of the Year voor “I Saw The Light” ft. Sonya Isaacs en Bluegrass/Country/Roots Album of the Year voor “I Serve A Savior”.

“This is a project that I have wanted to record for a long time,” shares Turner. “To be recognized in these categories is sincerely such an honor. I’m a big fan of Sonya Isaacs and thankful she shared her beautiful voice on these songs.”

“I Serve A Savior” debuteerde op nr. 2 van Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart en Billboard’s Top Christian Album Chart.

The 50th Annual GMA Dove Awards vindt op 15 oktober in Nashville plaats.
