Dear friends of Country Night Gstaad,

When she made her debut Gstaad appearance in 2010, Miranda Lambert was already a star of the American country music scene. Her sensational performance is fondly remembered by all those who were there. In the meantime, the now 39-year-old superwoman from Texas has achieved pretty much everything a country performer could wish for. A summary of her genuinely impressive track record is provided in the box below.

This time around, Randall King – one of the most promising country music players in the traditional style – will also be appearing. Also gracing the Country Night Gstaad event will be cajun singer-songwriter Jo-El Sonnier. It is nearly 30 years since he brought a brand of country music to Gstaad that was closely related to French and other European styles of folk music. Meanwhile Florian Fox will proudly fly the Swiss flag. With his powerful bass baritone voice, Florian is sometimes known as ‘the Swiss Johnny Cash’.We are looking forward to the whole range of country music concerts, and to welcoming as many visitors as possible to Country Night Gstaad on 08 and 09 September 2023.
