Het nooit eerder uitgebrachte benefiet concert “Woody Guthrie All-Star Tribute Concert 1970” is vanaf 7 juni verkrijgbaar op DVD. Dit All-Star Tribute Concert 1970 viert het leven en werk van de legendarische folkzanger en songwriter Woody Guthrie, wiens liedjes onderdeel zijn geworden van de basis van het amerikaanse leven. Drie jaar nadat Woody in 1967 overleed aan de ziekte van Huntington, werd dit concert als eerbetoon aan Woody gehouden.

Aan het concert werkten mee Arlo Guthrie, Joan Baez, Pete Seeger, Country Joe McDonald, Odetta, Richie Havens, Ramblin’ Jack Elliot, Earl Robinson, en The Band samen met verhalen verteld door acteurs Will Geer en Peter Fonda. Extra zijn 3 nooit eerder opgenomen songs van Joan Baez, Odetta en Ramblin’ Jack Elliott en repetitie opnames plus audio interviews met Arlo Guthrie en Ramblin’ Jack Elliott.
