Aaron Watson wordt volgend jaar bevestigd als lid van de Texas Cowboy Hall Of Fame. De Texas Cowboy Hall Of Fame, met leden als o.a. George Strait, Robert Earl Keen, Lyle Lovett en Willie Nelson, is opgericht om personen te eren die uitmunten in competitie, business en ondersteuning van de rodeo en de western levensstijl in Texas. De officiële bevestiging vindt op 16 januari plaats in Billy Bob’s, Texas.

Aaron Watson, een inwoner van Amarillo, Texas, heeft in zijn 20-jarige carrière meer dan 12 albums uitgebracht waaronder zijn album “The Underdog” uit 2015.

“If I can look back and think of the two things that have defined my career more than anything else—it’s Texas and cowboys,” says Aaron. “To be elected to the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame is hard to put into words, but it’s a humbling honor—especially when I see the names of my some of my heroes like Nolan Ryan, George Strait and Willie Nelson on that list.
